How to use Super Proxy with Trump Proxies on Android

A field-by-field Super Proxy setup for a Trump Proxies SOCKS5 line: the right DNS mode, why experimental UDP stays off, Android's kill switch, and the checks to run before you trust the connection.

Super Proxy is one of the cleanest ways to put an Android phone behind a proxy you already own. You enter the host, port, username and password from your Trump Proxies account; the app creates a local Android VPN interface and sends the phone's TCP connections through that proxy. There is no root access, no separate VPN subscription and no proxy bundled with the app.

This guide is for the genuine Super Proxy by SCHELER Software. Install it from Google Play, not from an APK mirror or a similarly named app. The developer's official site confirms that the app supports authenticated HTTP CONNECT and SOCKS5 profiles, proxy-side DNS resolution and Android's system Always-On VPN controls.

What to copy from your Trump Proxies account

Open your proxy in the customer portal and keep these four values in front of you. Copy each value exactly; one missing character is enough to produce an authentication error.

  • Host / server — a hostname such as the one shown in your proxy details. Enter only the hostname: no https://, no socks5://, and no trailing slash.
  • Port — the numeric proxy port. Put it in the Port field, not after the hostname.
  • Username — proxy authentication is case-sensitive.
  • Password — copy the proxy password, not your customer-portal password.

The ideal Super Proxy settings

Add the profile, step by step

  1. 01Open Super Proxy, stay on the Proxies tab and tap Add proxy.
  2. 02Enter a useful Profile name. Include the country and the identity that owns the line; never reuse one profile casually across unrelated accounts.
  3. 03Set Protocol to SOCKS5.
  4. 04Paste the portal hostname into Server and type the supplied number into Port.
  5. 05Set Authentication method to Username/Password, then paste both credentials.
  6. 06Set DNS resolution to Proxy. This is the important leak-prevention setting in the profile.
  7. 07Leave SSL/TLS and experimental UDP disabled, save the profile, then tap it in the proxy list.
  8. 08Tap Start. Android will ask whether Super Proxy may create a VPN connection; tap Allow. The small key or VPN icon means Android handed traffic to the app—it does not yet prove the remote proxy authenticated.

Android permits only one active VpnService connection. Disconnect any commercial VPN, ad blocker that uses a local VPN, firewall or second proxy app before starting Super Proxy. Stacking two of them does not add protection; the second app usually disconnects the first.

Turn on the Android kill switch after the first test

A proxy client can stop because Android kills the process, the phone changes networks or the remote connection fails. Without a kill switch, the phone may return to its normal Wi-Fi or mobile IP. Once the profile has passed the checks below, open Android Settings → Network & internet → VPN, open Super Proxy's settings, then enable Always-on VPN and Block connections without VPN.

Why UDP stays off

Super Proxy's normal behaviour is unusually useful for a TCP proxy: it sends TCP through the proxy, resolves names through the proxy and blocks UDP instead of letting it escape. That blocks WebRTC STUN and makes QUIC-capable apps fall back to TCP. The developer now offers experimental UDP-over-SOCKS5 in beta, but a client switch cannot create UDP support on a TCP-only server. Leave it off for a standard Trump Proxies line.

If you genuinely need live voice/video, a UDP-only game or another workload that cannot fall back to TCP, use a full mobile VPN line instead of forcing UDP through this profile. The transport distinction is explained in the TCP, UDP and connection-type checklist.

Verify the connection before opening the target app

  1. 01With Super Proxy off, note the IP shown at api.ipify.org.
  2. 02Start the saved profile, reopen the page in a private tab and confirm the IP changes.
  3. 03Check that the reported country matches the country of the line. A mobile line's public IP can change after rotation, so do not expect the same numeric IP forever.
  4. 04Run a DNS leak test. Public resolvers can appear in the result; your local ISP or mobile carrier should not be resolving the test while DNS resolution: Proxy is active.
  5. 05Open the actual platform you bought the line for and complete a normal login or page load. That final destination test matters more than a generic green status inside the client.

The settings that cause most failures

Use rotation without breaking the session

The Super Proxy profile does not change when you rotate: host, port, username and password remain fixed while the carrier-side exit IP changes. Rotate between sessions, wait for the line to come back, verify the new IP in a private tab, then open the target app. Rotating while an account is logged in gives the platform two IPs inside one session and can trigger a security check.

Does Super Proxy include a proxy or VPN subscription?

No. It is a client for a server you supply. Your Trump Proxies line supplies the host, port and authentication; Super Proxy creates the local Android tunnel that sends apps to it.

Should I enable SSL/TLS in Super Proxy?

Not for a standard Trump Proxies endpoint. That switch is for a proxy listener specifically wrapped in TLS. HTTPS sites still encrypt their content end-to-end when the switch is off.

Why does a leak test show a 10.x.x.x local address?

That is normally the private address of Super Proxy's local VPN interface, not your public home or mobile IP. The public-IP result and the DNS resolver path are the checks that matter.

Can I run Super Proxy and another VPN together?

Normally no. Both use Android's single VPN-service slot. Use one connection method at a time and test it directly.
