What is a mobile proxy?

A mobile proxy routes your traffic through a mobile-carrier connection, so websites see a carrier IP instead of your own. Mobile networks commonly place many subscribers behind shared public addresses through carrier-grade NAT. That makes carrier ranges harder to block broadly than hosting ranges, but it does not guarantee account acceptance or a particular reputation score.

Where are your mobile proxies located?

Accepted Answer

Three countries: New York in the USA, plus multiple cities across Austria and Germany in the EU. The endpoints route through 4G LTE mobile-carrier infrastructure rather than a hosting ASN. Choose the country required by the documented workload, then verify the observed ASN and location in the client you will use.

What mobile network do the proxies use?

Accepted Answer

Real 4G LTE connections on major carriers — A1 and Magenta in Austria, O2 in Germany, and major US carrier networks in New York. Every plan runs on real-SIM mobile infrastructure; the tier changes your access and rotation controls. A 5G badge would not by itself mean a cleaner IP or better compatibility, and either radio generation can be faster in a particular place.

Are these dedicated or shared proxies?

Every purchase gets an assigned authenticated proxy endpoint on mobile-carrier infrastructure. That describes the access credential and route, not ownership of a public IP. Mobile carriers commonly use carrier-grade NAT, so an assigned endpoint is not a promise that a carrier public IP belongs only to one subscriber or device. Use separate purchased endpoints where your own customer or workflow boundaries require them.

Will a mobile proxy stop my accounts getting banned?

Accepted Answer

No. A mobile endpoint supplies a carrier-network route, while the destination controls access, security reviews and account decisions using signals outside the proxy. No proxy provider can control those third-party outcomes. Use official platform permissions, follow current rules and verify the network route independently.

How is a mobile proxy different from a residential or datacenter proxy?

Datacenter IPs are fast and cheap but hosting ranges can face stricter treatment on protected platforms. Residential IPs come from consumer ISPs but static addresses and large pools still develop history. Mobile IPs come from carrier ASNs, where carrier-grade NAT makes broad IP blocking more costly. Match the class to the target and test the result.

A mobile proxy supplies the network layer only; each platform can still challenge an account based on reputation, device, behavior or policy. How many accounts can I run on one proxy?

Accepted Answer

There is no universal account count a proxy can make safe. For approved account work, use separate purchased endpoints where your own client or identity boundaries require them and prefer official team roles. Avoid requesting rotation during a logged-in session, while remembering that the carrier may still change the public IP. For authorized stateless jobs, begin with low concurrency and follow the destination's documented limits.

How does IP rotation work?

YUGE, FULL-ACCESS and VPN include both a personal TMPX rotation link and customer auto-rotation. TREMENDOUS and ROTATING include customer auto-rotation but no on-demand link. INCREDIBLE, PLATFORM and MULTI-SIM expose neither control; their mobile IP can still change naturally, and MULTI-SIM selects a different SIM path for each new connection. A 24-hour product test has the same controls as the exact product selected. Auto-rotation accepts whole-minute targets from 5 to 60 and runs approximately around the selected target. Keep on-demand requests at least 5 minutes apart. After an accepted request, check the status link instead of calling rotate again; a successful refresh does not promise a new or persistent public address.

How do I use my rotation link with automation software?

If your plan includes a personal rotation link, place it in your software's change-IP or rotation-URL field and keep commands at least 5 minutes apart. On HTTP 200, use status_url to check currentIp every 5 seconds for up to 120 seconds. On HTTP 429, honor the Retry-After header exactly. Do not parse the human-readable message, and do not call rotate again just because an IP checker still sees the previous address. Trigger changes between stateless tasks and never treat a request as a promise of a new or persistent address.

Are mobile proxies fast?

They use real cellular connections, so speed depends on the exact location, spectrum, signal, tower congestion, backhaul and carrier plan. 5G can be much faster on a wide, lightly loaded band, but LTE can equal or outperform a congested 5G connection. Test the actual endpoint at the times your workload runs, use keep-alive, and allow realistic timeouts.

Do you support IPv4 and IPv6?

IPv4 is the default because it remains the broadest compatibility choice for our supported workloads. IPv6 is available on supported lines where the client and destination support it. Reachability and geolocation quality vary by destination and database, so test the required stack end to end. Network-mode changes are not currently self-serve.

How do I test my proxy?

Accepted Answer

Send a request through the same client used for the workload and record the observed public IP, ASN, country and timestamp. Compare more than one lookup database when location or network labels disagree. DNS and WebRTC behavior belongs to the client and operating system, so test those separately. Third-party fraud scores are database opinions, not predictions of a platform outcome.

Are mobile proxies legal?

Accepted Answer

Legality depends on the jurisdiction, the data or service involved and what you do with the connection. Customers must follow applicable law, contracts and destination terms. A mobile route does not authorize conduct that would otherwise be prohibited. This general information is not legal advice.

Question 15

Do I have to configure anything?

Accepted Answer

You must enter the supplied host, port, protocol, username and password in a compatible proxy or VPN client and verify the route. The current details and common connection formats are available in your portal. Rotation or allow-list controls appear only when the selected plan and network support them; the setup guide covers the checks.

Question 16

What does a "407 Proxy Authentication Required" error mean?

Accepted Answer

A 407 means the proxy rejected the authentication details presented by your software. Compare the host, port, protocol, username and password with the current details in your portal or latest credential email, then re-enter them without extra spaces. If they match and the error continues, contact support so we can test the assigned line.

Question 17

Can my proxy access details change?

Accepted Answer

Yes. During a network upgrade we may issue replacement access details and retire the previous ones. We notify the ordering email before a planned cutover; update your software with the current portal or email details by the stated date. Retired details will no longer authenticate.

Do you offer a trial?

Accepted Answer

Yes — every proxy, VPN and Multi-SIM product can be tested for 24 hours in the exact country you intend to use. The test costs 10% of that product's monthly price, starts when the service activates and requires an eligible signed-in account. Use it to verify route, compatibility, performance and the real workload; it does not guarantee a third-party account or reputation outcome.

How do I pay?

USDT or USDC on Tron, Solana or Ethereum, or bank transfer. EU senders should use EUR SEPA; USD senders should use ACH. USD wire/SWIFT is available explicitly, but the amount shown includes Wise's disclosed receiving fee and correspondent banks may still deduct extra charges that require manual review. No card is stored or auto-charged.

Why does my proxy's location need to match my account's location?

Accepted Answer

Location can change localized content, availability and security review behavior. Choose the country required by the approved business workflow and document the browser, language, DNS and account settings used for the test. An IP-country match is not a promise of acceptance, and city-level geolocation may differ between databases.

How should a team manage multiple approved accounts?

Accepted Answer

Prefer the platform's official team roles and delegated access. Where your own client or identity boundaries require separate network routes, assign separate purchased endpoints and document the pairing. That does not guarantee a unique carrier public IP because mobile carriers commonly use CGNAT. The proxy does not control browser state, device signals or account decisions.

Is there a universal account warmup schedule?

Accepted Answer

No. A proxy setting cannot create account trust, and fixed day-by-day schedules quickly become outdated or misleading. Use the platform's current business, API and automation guidance, test one approved workflow first, and increase workload only after confirming permissions, limits and error handling.

Should I request IP rotation during a session?

Accepted Answer

Usually not during a stateful login, cart or checkout. An intentional IP change in the middle of that activity can trigger a security check, so request rotation between tasks instead. Natural carrier changes can still happen without a request and remain outside the proxy provider's control. For stateless public-data work, use the rotation behavior advertised for your plan.

What's the difference between your proxy and VPN products?

Accepted Answer

A proxy carries traffic from applications explicitly configured to use it. A VPN can route broader device traffic through an encrypted tunnel, but split-tunnel rules, local-network exclusions and operating-system settings can leave some traffic outside it. Use a proxy for a compatible individual client and an eligible VPN plan when the tested workload needs broader routing.

How is your VPN different from a regular consumer VPN?

Accepted Answer

VPN products differ. Many consumer VPN endpoints use hosting networks, while our eligible VPN product exits through mobile-carrier infrastructure. That is an observable network-class difference, not a guarantee of acceptance, reputation or anonymity. Compare protocol support, route coverage, location and measured performance for the real workload.

Should I use WireGuard or OpenVPN?

Accepted Answer

WireGuard is a lightweight UDP-based choice when the network permits its traffic. An OpenVPN profile using TCP port 443 may connect on networks that allow outbound TCP 443 while restricting UDP. Plain OpenVPN remains distinguishable from ordinary HTTPS to capable inspection, so port 443 is not a bypass guarantee. Test both supported profiles on the actual network.

Does a proxy stop browser and device fingerprinting?

Accepted Answer

No. A proxy routes configured network connections; the browser and device control cookies, storage, canvas/WebGL, fonts and other client signals. A proxy can affect network-observable details, so those signals are not literally identical in every configuration. Test the complete approved client workflow and do not treat either the endpoint or a browser profile as an account-outcome guarantee.

Why does my real IP sometimes leak even though I'm connected to the proxy?

Accepted Answer

Applications can send traffic outside a configured TCP proxy when they use an unsupported path, direct connection or different network policy. WebRTC behavior depends on the browser's proxy mode: standards allow force-proxy configurations to restrict candidates and fall back to TCP when UDP proxying is unavailable. QUIC uses UDP and is not carried by a TCP-only proxy path. Test the actual client, DNS, WebRTC and UDP behavior instead of assuming one universal browser result.

Why shouldn't I use an IPv6-only connection?

Accepted Answer

IPv6 support varies by destination, client and network path, and it changes over time. An IPv6-only client can fail whenever any required dependency is IPv4-only. Geolocation quality also differs by database and prefix. We default to IPv4 for broad compatibility and offer IPv6 only on supported lines; test every required destination before choosing a different stack.
